and no wonder--hard to beat a classic design object housed in a box with "The Psychological Corporation New York

but still really a lovely thing that would be great framed

I personally especially like them displayed with the legs turned all the way around

and would be more fun to actually play some of these

Antique Pennsylvania Folk Art Mirror with Painted Bird cat story and no wonder--hard to beatEverything about this mirror with bird (original to it) is a a little wonky, which is much of what I love about it! The carved and polychromed bird veers just a hair to one side (which seems to be how it was made) and shows paint loss in a couple of spots, and the mirror is all kinds of aged all of which adds up to a thing with, to my eye, a whole lot of charm and personality. I know this was found in Pennsylvania and looks Pennsylvania German to me.
