The dipole reacts to the electrical component (E Field) of the electromagnetic field and will provide the best results in terms of signal strength and SNR (signal to noise ratio) in locations with little or no locally generated interference. However, the receiver to be coupled to this antenna should have a sufficiently high dynamic range to effectively
