I find their faces just marvelous--a bit stoic but whimsical too

with great deepening to the color of the clay where it was clearly very often held

Scratch made, with especially nice tapered legs to the little table. And what's better than a rocking chair? All painted white and gold, about 80 or 90 years ago I'd guess. Charming. Table: 2 1 4 t x 2 1 4 x 2 18; rocker 3 5 16 t x 1 3 8 x 2 3 8. All in very good condition.
