Adjustable semi silent check check out the photos. Not a super tight drag but enough to prevent overrun. No wobble or other issues. This is a later reel, not made in Croydon, but made by JW Young for Farlow's after WWII. No line grooves whatsoever. Correct smooth brass foot attached with three screws. Handle spins freely.
