Of course I especially love the star shaped ones that look like hex drawings

which is what this little group of cutouts calls to mind for me

and then pencil drawing the cross of the board

then went back to the seller to scoop up a handful more

Probably done as school work, but I think quite transcendent. And feels like a poignant moment for thinking about FDR including as we watch our social safety net disappear. The arching cut paper numbers mark the span of his presidency. And then this silhouette bust on column, which feels very full of life to me. To my eye just right, down to every detail and imperfection. 10 3 4" x 8 3 4", framed, under glass, as found.
