I've really fallen in love with these old wooden Czechoslovakian "ramp walker" figures

but structurally super sound and everything turns smoothly

these sorts of baskets were only produced when plants were at  the right stage of maturation

Dark Wood Treen Goblet kazoo and reminds me a bitI can never resist old treen cups and goblets; I just love their silhouettes, and the variations in form from one to the next. As usually one finds them one at a time, they would be a great thing to build a collection of, showcasing that variety. I especially love the stem on this one, and how the cup sits on it like on a pedestal, stepped in a bit from flat top of the stem. I have not touched the wood on it, which shows a patch of what I think are
