TIPPY, Much Weathered White on Baby Blue Painted Canvas Canoe Siding Fragment antique tin retablo 11 5/8” w x 11Tippy was the name of a beloved canoe, and this was a portion of its canvas siding, located on one side at the bow of the boat clearly Tippy saw many a trip, and maybe a tip or two too! I love it as a found object, and found that chippy white lettering against sky blue too good to resist, and I love the shape of the canvas too, a bit like the shape of the blade of an (fat) oar, and with a jaunty sort of kick to the lower left corner 18 1 2" x 13 3 4"
