1983年の誕生以来、飽くなきタフネスを追求し進化を続け35周年を迎えたG-SHOCKからクリアスケルトンの35周年記念限定モデル「GLACIER GOLD(グレイシアゴールド)」が登場します。今回はメインの素材に透明度の高いクリアスケルトンを採用。スケルトンは1996年のイルカクジラモデルで初めて採用し、一大ムーブメントを起こしたカラーであり、G-SHOCKの歴史を語る上で外すことのできないデザインです。DW-5035E、DW-5735Eはケース・スクリューバックにゴールドIPを施し、また文字板や液晶部分までもゴールドカラーを採用。GA-735E、GA-835Eは、ホワイトカラーの樹脂ケースで内部の素材感を見て楽しめる仕様になっております。透明度の高いクリアスケルトンがゴールドカラーを引き立たせる35周年記念モデルにふさわしい煌びやかなフェイスデザインとしています。過酷な環境で存在感を放つ絶対零度の氷河(GLACIER)と、過酷な環境での絶対強度を目指すG-SHOCKのイメージを重ね、時計全体で表現しました。ベースモデルには原点を踏襲するスクエアデザインDW-5000、35周年を機に完全復活を果たしたDW-5700、新BIG CASE 定番として人気を誇るGA-710、ミニマルサイズのGA-800の4モデルをラインアップ。それぞれの裏蓋には35周年記念刻印が入るスペシャルモデルの登場です。(こちらはGA-835Eになります。)
