but one thing that is burned into my visual memory was the most exceptional sun dog I've ever seen

When the mountains begin to get the early snow falls while the aspen still hold their colorful leaves

I remember looking over at my friend and making eye contact with him as he looked back at me and we somehow communicated to each other that this was way too cold to be out here trying to enjoy ourselves

The dogs are playing after a long day's work and the wildlife begins to awake as the sun sets
