For the last 12 months, the Pokemon Trading Card Game has been in turmoil

Collectors and investors actively seek Mewtwo cards, particularly rare variants likeMewtwo EX, Mewtwo VMAX, Mewtwo GX, and vintage holographic versions

Players are wising up to the fact that some cards are expensive simply because there are so few of them in circulation, and with Masters sets being printed in such high supply, these types of "chase" cards lose a lot of their luster because the massive influx of supply means they lose much of their value

You might be able to make an educated guess as to whether a card you need is going to be in a specific players deck based on their commander and perceived budget, but thats far from a guarantee as they are just as likely to have forgotten to include the card youre searching for or simply havent bought a copy of it yet

Hasbros Magic: The Gathering and Segas Sonic the Hedgehog are teaming up for three new card collections based on the Sonic universe, and Variety has a first look at one of the sets
