The real competition will be the other food commanders of recent, but I think this has enough of a twist that makes the long value-game of Simic stick out well in the archetype

At the beginning of combat on your turn, you may have Gogo, Mysterious MimeGogo, Mysterious Mime become a copy of another creature you control until the end of the turn - but since Gogo keeps its name, you're free to copy legendary creatures too
Any one of these is great and provides some nice passive income to your mana base
The double strike and trample effects, if you reach that many creatures, is really something to behold
