mega charizard the pokemon card - Mega-Charizard-EX (13/108) - XY Evolutions Get ready to take your Pokémon journey to the next level with this coveted set. MEGA CHARIZARD EX!!! #PokemonPartner #expenses_paid

Discard was used to force the opponent to overcommit to the table or to clear a path, after which the board was wiped and the resulting card advantage let you slowly finish off a helpless opponent

At every step, players must draw on their critical thinking skills to calculate the perfect strategy, predict the oncoming attack, and outwit their opponent

Some effects instruct you to roll again

A Voltron build would be more appropriate here, stacking auras and equipment on your commander and beating down

The decision to discard your hand is made during the resolution of the ability, so there is no opportunity for an opponent to respond between choosing to discard your hand and drawing cards
