Results from subgroup analyses of the Evaluate Renal Function with Semaglutide Once Weekly (FLOW), the Semaglutide Effects on Cardiovascular Outcomes in People with Overweight or Obesity (SELECT), the Effect of Semaglutide 2.4 mg Once Weekly on Function and Symptoms in Subjects with Obesity-related Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (STEP-HFpEF), and the Semaglutide Treatment Effect in People with Obesity and Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction and Diabetes Mellitus (STEP-HFpEF DM) trials showed that semaglutide tended to be more effective in younger patients, those with higher BMI, higher GFR, and lower HbA1c levels 22,23,24
