The reel features an adjustable disc drag that is quite strong. LHW or RHW. Easily switched by flipping over main gear around drive shaft. Is currently set up for left hand wind. This would make a great all around reel for a 5 wt. application. Reel was made for Orvis by Lamson. Reel weighs 6. 55 oz. Diameter: 3 1 8" Width: 1 1 2". Reel comes with original Orvis reel
