62145 “Abrecan” Saxon Attacking with Axe John Jenkins First World War Born in 1885This warrior name means Storm, a fitting one too as he attacks with his two handed bearded axe. He also carries a scarmasax, or seax suspended at the front of his belt, ready at a moments notice. This Saxon wears a shirt of interlocking iron rings known as mail, and a helmet formed from one piece of iron with an iron strip protecting the nose from slashing blows. His heavy woolen cloak is woven in a simple pattern of grays to ward off the damp.
