Payne 96 Fly Rod 6'6" 2/2 #3/4 Vintage Fly Tackle. 6'6" Made in 2006A superb Payne model 96 fly rod, 6'6", 2 piece, 2 tips. A sweet medium action for a #3 or #4 line. Very good refinished condition and it does not appear to have been fished much as there is no cracking at the ferrule wraps. The varnish is very well done. The wraps are brown with yellow edges and an extra band of purple at the keeper and the male ferrules. The #10 ferrule retains all of its oxidation. The guides are high arch snakes and an agate
